A polite rejection

I didn’t take it. And of course I’m thinking, “What if…” but sure, I can’t live my life thinking that way. I’m really worried that they’re going to hold it against me but I’m just not ready to go back. Of course I still love the hospitality industry but I’m going to have to go about getting back in a completely different way.

Part of me feels like if I had gone back now they would’ve seen my resignation in December as a combination of undesirable (and completely untrue) actions. As in, I resigned just so I could get Christmas and New Year’s off. Or that I did it because I was trying to get them to offer me a job in another department.

So now, I’m just waiting for my laundry to finish and then I’m going to get ready to go to the Sugar Club for a good ol’ night out. Except I’m flat broke so I’m going to do a LOT of pre-drinking before I set off into the cold! Enjoy your weekends!!
